Case Study: Waste Reduction through the Valorization of Waste Plastic (PP/PE) Caps
Re-pelletizing is possible after the crushing and dissolution process! A case study that reduced disposal costs by approximately 700,000 yen per year.
We would like to introduce a case study on waste and cost reduction for manufacturers generating plastic caps during the separation process of product yield and other material containers. The company had concerns about wanting to increase the purchase price of plastic caps to reduce overall costs. In response, we proposed the valuable purchase of plastic caps. Plastic caps can be repelleted after undergoing crushing and melting processes. As a result, the monetization of plastic caps allowed for a 100% reduction in waste plastic disposal costs. 【Case Study】 ■ Target Customers: Manufacturers generating plastic caps during the separation process of product yield and other material containers. ■ Challenge: To increase the purchase price of plastic caps and reduce overall costs. ■ Effects: - A 100% reduction in waste plastic disposal costs through the monetization of plastic caps. - For a customer with a discharge volume of 15 tons/month: Approximately 700,000 yen/year reduction in disposal costs. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
